I came to Colorado from northern Illinois to study theater at UNC, focusing on directing and set design. I moved to a little mountain town after graduation. At this time, my artistic career morphed into being a fiber artist and I traveled to art festivals around the country. For many years I focus on creating unique planters and wall hangings integrating found objects and weavings into my macrame creations. I next began to create transformational feather masks and jewelry.
